Drug Smugglers Now Use “Beef Rendang” Like How Mom Used To Make
Many of us have heard about drug trafficking tactics of using random civilians as the carrier. The original concealing techniques to hide it in ground coffees, peanut butter, and other fragrant things could disguise the smells from sniffer dogs.
Recently the drug lord has chosen another fragrant medium for transportation, the beef “rendang”.

Nasihat pada sesiapa yang keluar masuk dari S'pura/Msia ke Indonesia kalau ada orang2 yang minta tolong bawak kan barang jangan tolong, tak kira lah org tu tua atau muda. Kadang2 dalam nya ada dadah. Kalau kastam check kita kena tangkap. kita yang salah. kita tak boleh cakap bukan kita punya barang, kita tolong bawak kan orang punya. Jadi pesan2 lah pada anak2 dan keluarga kita.

This video was shared in VideoMalaysia‘s Facebook page showing how drugs are smuggled by expertly concealing it in an unassuming container of beef rendang.
It is almost impressive to how creative people can be – it does looks like an innocent container of beef rendang like how momma’s used to make.
The video showed what looks like packets of heroin placed inside beef cutlets, and the officer uses a fork and a knife to dissect them.
This tactic seems to be so specific for South East Asian countries, where beef rendang deems popular. Therefore we would like to advise everyone to be wary of people who require your assistance carrying any form of package.
For those who are caught smuggling drugs is a mandatory death sentence under section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
